Have you guys heard Britney's new song? well here's the thing. I'm not a great fan of Britney but I do not hate her either. Apparently, according to the article, there are 2 issues we can address and derive from it. Firstly, being the issue of how critics view the video as being over too explicit, in that sense, and also how the view on men being womanizers.

I have to say, the video addresses all men fantasies in what they would like to see in a woman; nightie-clad girlfriend, naughty secretary, tattooed waitress and a near-topless chauffeur. The video is similar to toxic and i'ma slave 4 u, in the slutty ways of her that people normally say. Oops, no wonder, Joseph Khan directed toxic and stronger too. His way of wanting Britney to be maybe?

Lets give it to Britney, she does have her talent. But portraying it as her usual slutty way? Guys, what do you all say? It just further 'upholds' her image that most people critic or find hard to accept. Then again, what if Beyonce probably did it? Would people be as critical? Or Alicia Keys? Maybe Mariah Carey? In certain ways maybe the latter did but people covered for her by saying she's still an excellent singer. Here's the sad truth about what I feel, Britney started off as the innocent young school girl who wanted people to hit her one more time, but from Justin Timberlake to Kevin Federline to making out in the pool, just made people, guys in particular, fantasize more about her judging from her ability to erect public attention. One could probably argue that its her way of getting back on top. True, but its the 21st century. And yes although sex appeal does open one's eyes more, but since we are so used to explicity(is there such a word?), what Britney's doing just doesn't work i guess. Too much of her being explicit suddenly becomes a norm. But guys, lets not deny ok, she still is hot and if she was in our friendship proximity or whatsoever...(lets not go there shall we)

Womanizing? whats new. Besides from being explicit, i have not much to comment on the song. Its very the cliche arrowing how guys can be jerks. I'm not defending the guys though, cause there are guys who still fool around. Its just that its a little not-great-enough seeing how many songs that aired already with the nature of a girl anthem, and going against disrespectful/unloyal men.

Britney fans, don't hate me. I'm honest but I don't hate Britney. I loved Gimme More and Break The Ice from the last album, cause it was very club sounding. I have no issues on explicit clips, i mean hey, come on man i'm still a guy. But the whole Britney thing being 'slutty' and exposive, just doesn't work for me because it has already become a norm that she portrays herself that way. Nothing new, special or different.

So,

"Why the need to critique and censor explicit Britney videos?"
